Cabinet Shop - Paint Room Finisher Iron River Cabinets Boise, ID Job Details Full-time $18 - $25 an hour 3 hours ago Benefits Opportunities for advancement Tools provided Qualifications Moving Material mixing Driver's License Attention to detail Millwork Ability to follow instructions Measuring ingredients Full Job Description Iron River Cabinet is a Boise-owned and operated custom cabinet shop looking for a hardworking, detail-oriented Paint Room Finisher to join our team full-time. We build custom cabinetry for some of the most respected builders and homeowners throughout the Treasure Valley. We are a growing company with year-round work and opportunities for advancement for someone who takes pride in quality craftsmanship and attention to detail. Previous cabinet finishing, woodworking, or paint experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person•Pay DOE (Depends on Experience) Job Responsibilities Prepare cabinet doors, drawer fronts, boxes, and other components for finishing Sand, clean, and inspect surfaces to ensure a smooth, high-quality finish Mask and protect materials prior to painting or staining Apply primers, stains, paints, lacquers, and clear coats using spray equipment Mix and match colors and finishes according to project specifications Inspect completed pieces for quality, consistency, and finish defects Perform touch-ups and corrections as needed Load, unload, move, and organize cabinet components throughout the finishing process Maintain a clean and organized paint room, spray booth, and work area Clean and maintain spray equipment and finishing tools Follow all safety procedures and shop standards Job Requirements Reliable transportation to and from work Strong work ethic and willingness to learn Excellent attention to detail and quality craftsmanship Ability to follow instructions and work independently Cabinet finishing, woodworking, painting, automotive paint, or related experience preferred Experience spraying cabinets, furniture, automotive paint, millwork, or similar finishes is highly valued Experience with HVLP sprayers, cup guns, or other spray equipment preferred Ability to accurately measure and mix materials Ability to safely lift and carry 50+ pounds regularly Ability to stand, bend, and perform physical labor throughout the workday Ability to walk multiple flights of stairs daily Additional Job Details Typical work hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Overtime opportunities may be available Full training provided for the right candidate All tools and equipment provided by the company Opportunity for advancement as skills and experience grow Schedule 8-hour shift Monday to Friday License/Certification Driver's License (Preferred) Work Location In Person - Boise, ID 83709
