Garden City, Idaho Pay:
$28-$38 per hour, depending on demonstrated experience and ability
Schedule:
Full-time, Monday-Thursday, four 10-hour shifts Jaymark is seeking an experienced cabinet and architectural millwork installer for high-end residential projects throughout the Boise area, McCall, Sun Valley, and surrounding mountain communities. For more than 40 years, Jaymark has built a reputation for producing and installing high-quality custom cabinetry and millwork for discerning homeowners, builders, architects, and designers. This is not an entry-level construction position. We are looking for someone who can independently install detailed custom work, solve field conditions professionally, and represent Jaymark well in occupied and luxury homes. Responsibilities Install custom cabinetry, architectural millwork, trim, panels, hardware, and related products. Read and interpret shop drawings, plans, scopes, and installation details. Lay out installations accurately and verify dimensions and site conditions. Scribe, fit, level, align, fasten, and adjust cabinetry and millwork to a high standard. Identify and solve field conflicts involving walls, floors, appliances, plumbing, electrical, and surrounding finishes. Coordinate professionally with project managers, builders, homeowners, designers, and other trades. Document missing materials, damage, field modifications, and installation issues. Protect finished surfaces and maintain a clean, organized job site. Prepare tools, hardware, and materials before installation. Follow company safety procedures and proper tool-use practices. Travel to out-of-town projects when required. Qualifications At least two years of cabinet, finish carpentry, or architectural millwork installation experience. Proven ability to install custom cabinetry accurately and efficiently. Strong working knowledge of hand tools, power tools, laser levels, measuring equipment, and installation hardware. Ability to read detailed project drawings and specifications. Strong problem-solving and mechanical ability. High attention to detail and commitment to finished quality. Professional communication and conduct in clients' homes. Ability to work independently and as part of an installation team. Ability to lift and maneuver heavy cabinetry and work on your feet throughout the day. Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record. Ability to travel to McCall, Sun Valley, and other regional project locations. Ability to relocate to or commute reliably to Garden City, Idaho. What We Offer Four-day workweek.
