  • Full-time Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cabinet Maker to join our dynamic team.
In this role, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and finishing custom cabinets and woodwork for residential and commercial projects. Your expertise will help bring clients' visions to life through precise craftsmanship, efficient use of tools, and adherence to safety standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your woodworking talent while contributing to high-quality renovation and construction projects. Duties Read and interpret construction plans, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately build custom cabinets and wood fixtures. Measure, cut, assemble, and finish cabinet components using hand tools, power tools for woodworking, and woodworking machines. Install cabinets, doors, trim, siding, fixtures, and other woodwork on-site with precision and attention to detail. Perform heavy lifting and maneuver large or bulky materials safely during fabrication and installation processes. Ensure all work complies with safety regulations such as power tool safety protocols and proper handling of construction materials. Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and clients to meet specifications and project timelines. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including proper storage of tools and materials for efficient workflow. Skills Proficiency in reading blueprints, construction plans, schematics, and interpreting technical drawings. Extensive experience with hand tools, power tools for woodworking, CNC machines, and woodworking machines. Strong knowledge of construction estimating, framing carpentry, trim carpentry, metal stud framing, drywall finishing (plastering/stucco), and restoration industry practices. Skilled in cabinet installation, door hanging, fixture installation, flooring installation, tile laying, electrical experience related to fixtures or lighting setups. Familiarity with building codes related to residential carpentry including siding, roofing, rebar installation (for concrete forms), plumbing integration, masonry work, and water damage restoration. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining quality standards; experience with mold remediation is a plus. Knowledge of construction site safety procedures including power tool safety practices; experience working on construction sites is essential. Experience with fabrication processes such as rebar installation or metal work; familiarity with CNC machinery is advantageous. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret technical schematics accurately; handyman experience is beneficial.
