In this role, you will be responsible for building, assembling, installing, and repairing custom cabinetry, millwork, trim, and various woodworking projects with precision and attention to detail. Your work will include both shop fabrication and on-site installation for residential and commercial projects. The ideal candidate is experienced, dependable, detail-oriented, and passionate about quality craftsmanship. This is a full-time 1099 position offering steady year-round work in a small, laid-back shop environment where quality and efficiency matter. You'll have the opportunity to work alongside a skilled team on custom projects from start to finish.

Responsibilities:

Read and interpret shop drawings, blueprints, and cabinet layouts to accurately complete projects. Build, assemble, and install custom cabinets, vanities, closets, trim, and other millwork components. Measure, cut, edge-band, and fabricate materials using shop equipment and power tools. Operate woodworking machinery safely including table saws, miter saws, routers, sanders, nail guns, and other cabinet shop tools Install cabinets, crown molding, fillers, hardware, doors, drawer systems, and trim with precision. Assist with custom carpentry projects, trim work, framing, and finish carpentry as needed. Maintain clean and organized work areas in both shop and jobsite environments. Load/unload materials and safely handle heavy lifting when required. Follow project timelines while maintaining high-quality workmanship and attention to detail.

Skills & Requirements:

Minimum 5+ years experience in cabinet making, finish carpentry and custom woodworking. Strong ability to read blueprints, shop drawings, and measurements accurately. Experience with cabinet assembly, installation, trim carpentry, and finish work. Skilled with hand tools and power tools used in cabinet fabrication and carpentry. Experience working in a cabinet shop environment preferred Knowledge of materials, hardware, laminates, plywoods, and woodworking techniques. Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision. Reliable transportation and dependable attendance. Ability to safely lift heavy materials and work in a fast-paced environment.
