In this role, you will be responsible for constructing, assembling, and finishing custom furniture pieces with precision and craftsmanship. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in woodworking, metalworking, and various fabrication techniques, contributing to the creation of high-quality furniture that meets design specifications and client expectations. This position offers an engaging opportunity to work in a collaborative environment dedicated to craftsmanship excellence and innovative design.
Schedule:
Monday - Thursday 6am - 4:30pm •Must have some knowledge of carpentry• Duties Interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately fabricate furniture components. Utilize hand tools, power tools, CNC machinery, and fabrication equipment to cut, shape, assemble, and finish materials such as wood, metal, and composite substrates. Measure and mark materials precisely to ensure proper fit and alignment during assembly. Perform heavy lifting and material handling safely to support efficient production workflows. Install fixtures, hardware, and finishing touches including caulking, staining, or painting to enhance product quality. Conduct quality inspections throughout the fabrication process to identify defects or deviations from specifications. Collaborate with design teams and project managers to meet production deadlines while maintaining high standards of craftsmanship. Assist in restoration projects involving water damage remediation, mold remediation, or structural repairs as needed. Maintain a clean and organized workspace adhering to safety protocols at all times. Support other construction-related tasks such as framing, siding installation, or masonry work when required. Qualifications Proven experience in woodworking, metalworking, or furniture fabrication within a manufacturing or construction environment. Proficiency with construction estimating, blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and technical drawings. Skilled in the use of hand tools (e.g., saws, chisels), power tools (e.g., drills, sanders), CNC machinery, and other fabrication equipment. Knowledge of construction site safety practices and ability to work safely in various environments. Familiarity with installation processes including fixture installation and door hanging is desirable. Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently for extended periods. Experience with restoration industry techniques such as water damage restoration or mold remediation is a plus. Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. This position is integral to delivering exceptional craftsmanship in furniture fabrication while supporting broader construction projects.
