Job Description
CUSTOM CABINET MAKER/INSTALLER
We are seeking an experienced Cabinet Make/Installer to construct, assemble, and install custom cabinetry and architectural millwork. This role involves both shop production and on-site installation, requiring precision, strong blueprint interpretation skills, and proficiency with woodworking tools and equipment. The ideal candidate delivers high-quality workmanship while meeting project timelines across residential, commercial, or restoration projects.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and projects specifications Measure, cut, assemble, and finish wood components to precise tolerances Operate hand tools, power tools, and CNC machinery safely and efficiently Install cabinetry, trim, and millwork at job sites Perform finishing work including sanding, caulking, and adjustments for proper fit/appearance Inspect completed work to ensure quality and adherence to specifications Collaborate with project managers and other trades to ensure timely project completion Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in both shop and field settingsQUALIFICATIONS
Required Minimum 5 years of experience in cabinetry, trim, and millwork fabrication and installation Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and woodworking equipment (CNC experience a plus) Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship standards Ability to lift and handle materials safely Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites as required for project assignments Ability to access customer job sites, including government facilities, which may impose security requirements such as background checks, drug screenings, or other site-specific clearances Preferred Experience working with commercial and government projects Familiarity with related trades (electrical, plumbing, general construction)OTHER INFORMATION
