Woodshop Worker

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Woodshop Worker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting, assembling, and finishing high end custom wood products with precision and care in a timely manner. We do a lot of work with different wood species, plywood, resin, metals, selenite, skins etc. Your experience will contribute to a variety of free-standing furniture projects, art and restoration work. We are looking for someone with experience. However, we are willing to train the right motivated individual who has a good worth ethic with basic shop skills. Responsibilities Operate hand tools, power tools, saws, and fabrication equipment to cut, shape, assemble, and finish wood, metal and resins. Read or assist the lead builder with blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute project specifications Perform trim carpentry Be able to occasionally help with heavy lifting. Build one of a kind pieces of high-end furniture Conduct restoration activities and support remodeling projects Maintain a clean and safe workspace Experience with woodworking techniques and tools. Skilled in carpentry, resins or metal work are a plus. Using a forklift Knowledge of electrical experience related to fixture installation or remodeling projects. Excellent hand tool and power tool skills for diverse woodworking applications.

Pay:

$20.00 - $26.00 per hour
