Crate Builder, Carpentry

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Crate Builder, where you will play a vital role in constructing durable, custom crates and wood structures tailored to meet client specifications. Duties Build sturdy, precise crates and wooden structures using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication techniques. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate construction. Measure, cut, assemble, and finish wood components for various crate sizes and custom projects. Perform heavy lifting and material handling safely to meet project deadlines. Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols on construction sites. Skills Skilled in the use of hand tools (saws, hammers, chisels) and power tools (drills, saws, sanders). Experience with blueprint reading for accurate project planning. Knowledge of safety standards and heavy lifting procedures. Ability to fabricate custom components using traditional woodworking techniques.

• This candidate must have at least 6 months to a year of experience with carpentry
• Must be able to use a pneumatic nail gun, read tape measurements, and build wooden crates.
• Must be familiar with working in a manufacturing/workshop environment.
• High school diploma, technical training, or equivalent professional experience
• 1-3 years Vocational Technical experience.
