Job Description
Temporary Millworker / Cabinetmaker Winchester, MA We are seeking an experienced Millworker, Cabinetmaker, or Finish Carpenter to join our team on a temporary basis to help complete several large custom woodworking projects currently in production. This is an opportunity to work in a clean, well-equipped, high-end shop producing custom cabinetry, architectural millwork, built-ins, and period-correct woodworking for discerning residential clients. While this position is initially project-based, there is potential for it to become a permanent role for the right individual as our workload continues to grow. About the Shop Our Winchester-based shop is equipped with new Felder machinery and modern woodworking equipment, allowing craftsmen to focus on precision, efficiency, and quality. We take pride in producing exceptional custom work and maintaining a professional, team-oriented environment. Responsibilities
- Fabricate and assemble custom cabinetry and architectural millwork
- Read and interpret shop drawings and specifications
- Operate woodworking machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently
- Assist with production, assembly, and project completion
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Deliver work that meets high standards of craftsmanship and detail Qualifications
- Experience in cabinetmaking, millwork, finish carpentry, or custom woodworking
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Familiarity with shop machinery and safe work practices
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance Position Details
