In this energetic role, you will be responsible for installing custom cabinets, fixtures, and related millwork with precision and efficiency. Your expertise will help transform spaces, ensuring quality finishes that meet client expectations and project specifications. This position offers the opportunity to work on diverse construction sites, collaborate with skilled tradespeople, and develop your skills in a fast-paced environment. Duties Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and detailed construction drawings to ensure accurate cabinet placement and installation. Measure, cut, assemble, and install cabinets, countertops, trim carpentry, and related fixtures using hand tools and power tools. Operate heavy equipment as needed for site preparation or material handling. Install doors, frames, glass panels, hardware, and fixtures with precision to ensure proper fit and function. Perform construction inspection tasks to verify quality standards are met throughout the installation process. Coordinate with project managers, electricians, plumbers, and other trades to ensure seamless integration of cabinetry within the overall build. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and properly handling tools and materials. Requirements Proven experience in cabinet installation or related construction fields such as carpentry, framing, or remodeling. Proficiency in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction estimating. Skilled in using hand tools (e.g., saws, drills), power tools (e.g., sanders, grinders), and heavy equipment operation when necessary. Knowledge of construction management practices and construction site safety standards. Familiarity with materials such as drywall, stucco, masonry, flooring, tile laying, plastering, concrete finishing, welding, roofing, restoration techniques, and fixture installation. Ability to work effectively at heights or in confined spaces when required. Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.
