Attention to detail is what makes us different. We are seeking a skilled Wood Furniture Assembler with strong Cabinet Maker skills to assemble and fit high-quality custom wood furniture and cabinetry. This role requires precision craftsmanship, the ability to interpret detailed plans and drawings, and experience working with hardwoods, veneers, laminates, and cabinet-level joinery. The ideal candidate takes pride in fine workmanship; has formal training or apprenticeship in cabinet making or woodworking; has experience with custom furniture; has familiarity with shop safety standards and best practices; and can work independently to meet production schedules. This role requires proven experience as a furniture assembler, cabinet maker, or fine woodworker; a strong understanding of woodworking tools and machinery; high attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship; ability to work with solid wood, plywood, MDF, veneers and laminates; strong problem-solving skills and adaptability; ability to work independently with minimal supervision or as part of a team; ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English; reliability, punctuality, and professionalism. Key responsibilities of this role include to assemble wood furniture and cabinetry from shop drawings and specifications; interpret blueprints and written instructions accurately; perform cabinet-level joinery; install hardware including hinges, drawer slides, pulls and specialty fittings; ensure proper alignment, fit, and finish of assembled pieces; troubleshoot and resolve assembly or fit issues efficiently; maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area; have reliable, punctual attendance; communicate progress, challenges, and timelines clearly with team leads, engineering team, and related staff in a professional manner. Physical requirements of this role include the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.; ability to stand, bend, and work with hands for extended periods; good hand/eye coordination (corrected eyesight); ability to work around machinery in operation; comfortable and able to work in a woodshop environment.
