Starting at $30/hour, depending on experience About Granite Mountain Countertops Granite Mountain Countertops (GMC) is a Four Corners-based custom cabinet and countertop shop serving the Gallatin Valley and surrounding mountain communities. We install in everything from full custom homes in Big Sky to kitchen remodels in downtown Bozeman. Our crew is small, our standards are high, and we'd rather take care of one job the right way than rush through three. We're growing — and we're hiring an experienced Cabinet Installer to join the team. What You'll Do Install custom and semi-custom cabinetry in residential kitchens, baths, laundry rooms, offices, and built-ins Set, level, scribe, and trim cabinets to a finish-grade standard Install hardware (pulls, knobs, hinges, soft-close mechanisms, drawer slides) Read and work from shop drawings, elevations, and field measurements Coordinate on-site with general contractors, countertop installers, plumbers, and electricians Punch-list and walk-through with the client at completion Keep your truck, tools, and job sites clean and professional What We're Looking For 2+ years of cabinet installation or finish carpentry experience (we'll consider a strong helper looking to step up) Comfortable reading plans and taking accurate field measurements Own hand tools and a reliable vehicle with a valid driver's license Able to lift 75+ lbs and work on your feet all day Show up on time, communicate clearly, and treat the customer's home like it's your own Drug-free and able to pass a pre-employment screen Nice to Have Experience with 2020 Design or shop drawings from a custom cabinet shop Familiarity with high-end finishes (paint-grade, stained, custom inset) Background in trim/finish carpentry Compensation & Benefits Starting at $30/hour, varies depending on field experience Paid by-weekly (twice a month) Paid time off and paid holidays Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) Company truck for business use during work hours (not for personal use) Year-round work — we don't slow down in the winter Why GMC You'll work on real projects in a part of the country people dream about living in.
