Overview Join our dynamic team as a Cabinet Designer, where creativity meets precision to transform spaces into functional works of art. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in interior design, layout planning, and high-end sales to craft custom cabinetry solutions that delight clients and elevate their environments. Your passion for renovation, construction, and lighting design will drive innovative ideas from concept to completion, ensuring every project exceeds expectations. We are looking for a motivated professional eager to build lasting customer relationships while showcasing technical proficiency in design software and sales strategies. Responsibilities Collaborate with clients to understand their vision, needs, and budget for custom cabinetry projects. Develop detailed layout designs using SketchUp, CAD, and other design tools to visualize concepts clearly. Present product demos and lighting design options to educate clients on features, benefits, and upgrades. Negotiate project scope, pricing, and terms to close sales effectively while upselling premium features and remodeling options. Coordinate with construction teams during renovation and remodeling phases to ensure designs are accurately executed. Build strong customer relationships through exceptional service, follow-up communication, and personalized solutions. Manage inside sales activities including POS transactions, customer data entry in CRM systems, and stock management. Conduct product merchandising and marketing efforts to showcase new cabinetry styles and fixtures in retail settings. Handle basic math calculations for measurements, pricing estimates, and retail math to ensure accurate proposals. Maintain organized records of client interactions, project progress, and maintenance schedules using organizational tools. Experience Proven experience in outside sales or inside sales within the cabinetry, remodeling, or construction industry. Strong proficiency with SketchUp, CAD software, Microsoft Office Suite, CRM systems, and POS platforms. Demonstrated success in high-end sales environments with a focus on luxury cabinetry or interior design products. Knowledge of lighting design principles and lighting sales strategies is highly desirable. Construction experience or background in renovation projects enhances understanding of building processes. Multilingual abilities are a plus for engaging diverse client bases effectively. Excellent communication skills with the ability to negotiate deals confidently and close sales efficiently. $55,723.93 - $67,108.39 per year
