Job Description

Division 8- Foreman We are seeking a skilled Foreman who specializes in installation of doors, frames and hardware. A plus if installation experience with Division 10 toilet partitions, toilet accessories, and FECs.
Responsibilities:
  • Install doors, frames and hardware as directed from management.
  • Install toilet partitions, toilet accessories and FECs as directed from management.
  • Track time and materials as required for each installation project.
  • Perform job site clean-up and dispose of waste materials properly.
  • Accurately complete required paperwork and documentation.
  • Ensure work complies with all building codes and safety regulations.
  • Works with tools and equipment while providing leadership to further develop their crew's skills and abilities.
  • Revises work assignments as required by priorities and work availability.
  • Oversees several jobs at one time.
  • Interprets specifications and work orders for workers.
  • Assists installers in resolving problems on the project.
  • Lays out floor plan and finish work, using required tools and instruments.
  • Inspects work performed by subcontractors, to ensure conformance with specifications.
  • Attends safety and training classes to stay abreast of current rules and regulations.
  • May coordinate and work with architects and building inspectors.
  • Performs additional duties as required by the job.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must have at least 3 years related experience.
  • Own basic tools.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and weekends as per project requirements.
  • Safety-First mentality, with the following safety training: OSHA 10 (OSHA 30 preferred). Forklift Certification.
  • Proficient in reading & understanding project plans, specifications, and shop drawings.
  • Ability to read and use a measuring tape, level and operate hand and power tools.
  • Ability to work efficiently and independently or as part of a team.
  • Problem solving skills-to develop feasible, realistic solutions to problems, recommending actions designed to prevent problems from occurring and referring problems to upper management when necessary.
  • Excellent communication skills to coordinate with clients and team members.
