Designer Woods strives to be the cabinet and casework supplier of choice for select residential and commercial contractors who value quality, reliability, and innovation. Responsibilities Install residential cabinets, vanities, trim, moldings, hardware, and accessories according to plans and specifications Measure and verify job site dimensions prior to installation Read and interpret shop drawings, cut lists, and production specifications Ensure cabinets are level, plumb, square, and securely fastened Make field modifications as needed to achieve a professional finished appearance Install cabinet hardware, fillers, crown molding, toe kicks, panels, and light trim Coordinate with project managers, builders, homeowners, and other trades to complete installations on schedule Inspect products for damage or defects before and during installation Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and installation equipment Load, transport, and unload cabinetry while preventing product damage Address punch-list items and warranty repairs as assigned Assist with cabinet production and finishing in the manufacturing shop when not engaged with onsite installs Qualifications, Skills & Physical Requirements Minimum of 2 years of cabinet install, finish carpentry, or related experience Ability to read blueprints, shop drawings, and installation plans Strong knowledge of cabinet installation techniques and finish carpentry Experience using common carpentry hand and power tools Ability to troubleshoot installation challenges and make accurate field adjustments Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Excellent communication and customer service skills Valid driver's license Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to lift up to 50 pounds; safely handle large cabinetry components; and stand, bend, kneel, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces
