Wood Worker

Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and motivated individual to join our wood shop team. This role involves building custom skids, pallets, and shipping crates used to safely transport industrial equipment. While prior woodworking or carpentry experience is preferred, we are willing to train the right candidate with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

Construct skids, pallets, and wooden crates according to specifications Measure, cut, and assemble materials accurately Operate tools such as nail guns, saws, drills, and tape measures Ensure all builds meet quality and durability standards for shipping Maintain a clean and organized workspace

Preferred Skills & Experience:

Basic experience with woodworking, carpentry, or construction Familiarity with hand tools and power tools (nail guns, circular saws, etc.) Ability to read measurements and use a tape measure accurately Experience working with lumber and basic materials Traits we are looking for: Strong attention to detail Dependable and shows up on time Willingness to learn and take direction Good work ethic, able to stay productive without constant supervision Physically capable of lifting and moving materials (50+ lbs)
