• Time, permanent Registrar for a Medical Imaging/ Radiology department within a very reputable healthcare organization.

The ideal candidate will come with experience working in a Medical Imaging department. You will be responsible to register, schedule onsite appointments, verify imaging procedures, check for physician orders and proper paperwork.

Schedule:

FT, 40 hrs./week Monday

• Friday, 11:30am
• 8pm

Rate:

$19/hr.

• $24/hr.

(based on experience) + $1.25/hr.

High School Diploma or equivalent required At least 1 year of experience in a radiology or medical imaging practice preferred (registrar, scheduler, front-desk in radiology) Strong organizational, multitasking, and prioritization skills Excellent verbal and written communication abilities; strong customer service focus for patient registration and satisfaction Competency in using Health Information Systems (HIS ), Radiology Information Systems (RIS) , and familiarity with Electronic Health Records (EHR) or PACS is a plus

Key Responsibilities:

Register and schedule outpatient appointments for a variety of imaging procedures including radiology, mammography, CT, ultrasound, and nuclear medicine Verify imaging procedures and physician orders; ensure proper documentation and consent are in place Demonstrate proficiency with HIS and RIS systems to accurately enter patient demographics, orders, and scheduling information Provide excellent patient satisfaction through clear communication, empathy, and efficient service during patient check-in and registration Interact professionally with patients, families, referring physicians, hospital staff, and insurance representatives to support smooth clinical operations Why join us: Work on-site with a collaborative radiology team in Flemington, NJ, gain experience across multiple imaging modalities, and contribute to high-quality patient care.
