Custom Cabinet Maker High end,5 man, custom cabinet shop in Whippany NJ seeking experienced cabinetmaker/woodworker.

Applicant must:

Be able to read shop drawings and generate cutting lists experienced in Kitchens, casework, and custom furniture fabrication Cut and mill all parts with various machines using solid rough hardwoods and fine veneered plywood. assemble parts using skills in high end joinery and cabinetmaking techniques Have a working knowledge of kitchen layouts in order to build cabinets for streamlined installation Have a working knowledge of kitchen appliances Have a working knowledge of cabinet hardware such as butt hinges, concealed hinges, drawer slides, cabinet accessories etc Be able to join hardwood to veneered plywood and sand flush with out damaging veneer Have a general knowledge of domestic and other hardwood species, their grains and colors. Work well with other cabinetmakers, finishers, installers, as well as customers, designers/architects.

JOB DESCRIPTION

5 years experience mechanical aptitude for a self motivated person proficient in hand tools, power tools, and woodshop machinery Work neatly, efficiently, precisely, Must be prompt, reliable, good work ethic, flexible schedule for start of your day (you may choose your start time between 5:30 AM and 7:30 AM) 7 days paid holidays paid vacation happy, relaxed work environment.
