- Full-time Architectural Millwork Installer Join our growing architectural millwork team installing high-end custom millwork throughout New York City and Northern New Jersey.
We are seeking an experienced Architectural Millwork Installer who takes pride in quality workmanship, attention to detail, and professional jobsite conduct. This position is ideal for installers who can read shop drawings, solve field conditions, and deliver clean, accurate installations on active commercial construction projects. Projects include corporate interiors, conference rooms, reception areas, wall panel systems, executive offices, hospitality spaces, custom cabinetry, and specialty architectural millwork. Responsibilities Install custom architectural millwork, cabinetry, wall panels, reception desks, doors, trim, and specialty woodwork according to shop drawings and project specifications. Read and interpret shop drawings, field dimensions, and installation details. Verify site conditions and perform layout work before installation. Scribe, fit, and modify millwork components as necessary to achieve professional results. Install hardware, specialty components, and architectural details accurately. Coordinate with project managers, superintendents, and other trades on active job sites. Perform punch list work and final quality inspections. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Represent the company professionally on client and contractor job sites. Skills & Experience Minimum 3 years of experience installing commercial architectural millwork. Strong ability to read and interpret shop drawings. Experience with wall panels, casework, reception desks, cabinetry, and custom millwork installations. Skilled with hand tools, power tools, lasers, and measuring equipment. Ability to troubleshoot field conditions and work independently. OSHA 10 required; OSHA 30 preferred. Reliable transportation and own basic installation tools. Experience working on active NYC commercial construction sites preferred.
