Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Cabinet Refinisher/Labor to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming cabinets through sanding, staining, painting, and finishing processes to achieve a high-quality, polished appearance. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your craftsmanship skills while contributing to beautiful, functional cabinetry projects. The ideal candidate is energetic, eager to learn, and committed to delivering exceptional results on every project. We are willing to train the right person Duties Prepare cabinet surfaces by sanding, cleaning, and masking to ensure smooth finishes. Apply paint, stain, lacquer, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment with precision and consistency. Assist with cabinet installation including measuring, aligning, and securing components according to project specifications. Use hand tools and power tools such as drills, saws, sanders, and caulk guns to complete refinishing tasks efficiently. Follow blueprints, schematics, and project plans to ensure accurate application of finishes and proper assembly. Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of waste materials properly. Collaborate with team members on various carpentry tasks including trim carpentry, door hanging, and fixture installation as needed. Skills Strong knowledge of woodworking techniques including cabinetry refinishing and restoration industry standards. Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used in carpentry and finishing work. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during detailed finishing tasks.
