Job Overview California Closets is hiring a Cabinet & Closet Installer Helper to assist with installing high-end custom closet systems, wall units, entertainment centers, garage storage, and home office solutions in residential homes. Our installations require precision, craftsmanship, and attention to detail, making this a great opportunity for someone with cabinetry, woodworking, or finish carpentry experience who wants to grow into a professional installer. Responsibilities Assist with installation of custom closets, cabinetry, wall units, and storage systems Use hand tools and power tools to assemble and install components Measure, level, and align finished materials accurately Install hardware such as door pulls, cabinet doors, and shelving Assist with installation of lighting components (puck lights, pole lighting) Maintain a clean and professional job site in customers' homes Work with the lead installer to complete projects on time and within specifications Requirements Experience in cabinetry, woodworking, trim carpentry, or construction trades preferred Ability to measure accurately and work with precision Comfortable using hand tools and power tools Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship Good communication and teamwork skills Professional appearance and attitude when working in customers' homes Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical work Physical Requirements Frequent standing, lifting, bending, kneeling, reaching, and climbing stairs Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, and job-site equipment Visual ability to read plans, measure materials, and inspect finished work Comfortable working on installations for extended periods What We Offer Paid training with experienced installers Career path to Lead Installer Steady full-time & year-round work Competitive hourly pay + overtime Paid travel time to and from job sites Benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision, employer-paid life insurance 401(k) with company match Apply today to join our installation team and build a career in finish carpentry and custom installations! $43,680.00 - $70,000.00 per year
