The ideal candidate will have a strong background in woodworking and a passion for creating high-quality, custom spaces in high end residential and commercial jobs. Basic tools and reliable transportation required.
Key Responsibilities:
Install custom millwork including cabinets, casework, trim, paneling, doors, and built-ins Read and interpret shop drawings, blueprints, and installation plans Measure, cut, scribe, and fit millwork to exact specifications Ensure installations are level, plumb, square, and finished to high-quality standards Coordinate with project managers, designers, and other trades on-site Perform field modifications as needed while maintaining design intent Protect finished materials and jobsite during installation Troubleshoot and resolve installation issues Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work area Skills- Proficiency in using woodworking tools and machinery, including saws, routers, and sanders.
- Strong knowledge of woodworking techniques, materials, and finishes.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Good communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
- Physical stamina and strength to perform tasks that may involve lifting heavy materials and standing for long periods.
