Woodworker McAtee Painting Oklahoma City, OK Job Details Contract 1 day ago Qualifications Fabrication Restoration Cabinet installation Concrete forming Roofing Full Job Description Overview Join our dynamic team as a Woodworker and bring craftsmanship and precision to a variety of construction, restoration, and fabrication projects. In this role, you'll be instrumental in creating high-quality wood components, installing fixtures, and contributing to both new builds and renovation efforts. Your expertise will help transform blueprints into tangible, durable structures that meet client specifications and industry standards. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills across multiple facets of woodworking and construction. Duties Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately cut, shape, and assemble wood products. Operate hand tools, power tools, CNC machines, and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently. Install cabinetry, doors, siding, fixtures, and trim carpentry components with precision. Perform framing work including metal stud framing, concrete forming, and rebar installation for various projects. Assist with remodeling tasks such as flooring installation, tile laying, plastering, stucco application, and roofing. Conduct restoration work involving water damage remediation, mold remediation, and general building repairs. Measure materials accurately for custom fabrication or assembly tasks while adhering to safety protocols. Skills Extensive experience with woodworking techniques including cabinet installation and door hanging. Strong knowledge of construction estimating, blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and project planning. Proficiency with hand tools (e.g., chisels, saws) and power tools (e.g., drills, sanders), along with CNC machinery operation. Familiarity with construction site safety standards and experience working on active construction or restoration sites. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail in all tasks. Knowledge of various construction disciplines such as masonry, plumbing, electrical work, metal stud framing, and roofing is a plus. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt plans based on site conditions or project requirements.
