Job Overview Join our dynamic construction team as a Chain-link Installer and bring your expertise in fencing installation to life! In this role, you will be responsible for installing durable chain-link fences that enhance security, privacy, and aesthetic appeal for a variety of projects. Your hands-on skills, attention to detail, and knowledge of construction techniques will ensure each installation meets high standards of quality and safety. This is an exciting opportunity for motivated individuals eager to contribute to large-scale construction projects while honing their craft in a fast-paced environment. Duties Measure and mark fence lines accurately using blueprints, schematics, and site plans Prepare the installation area by clearing debris, setting posts, and ensuring proper ground conditions Install fence posts, rails, and mesh panels with precision using hand tools and power tools Secure all components firmly, ensuring the fence is level, plumb, and structurally sound Operate heavy equipment as needed for post setting or material transportation Conduct inspections during installation to verify alignment, height, and overall quality Collaborate with project managers and other trades such as carpentry, masonry, or roofing to coordinate work efforts Follow safety protocols diligently while handling tools like drills, saws, caulking guns, and fabrication equipment Complete detailed documentation of work progress and any issues encountered during installation Skills Extensive experience with construction site work, blueprint reading, and schematics interpretation Proficiency in using hand tools (hammers, wrenches) and power tools (drills, saws) effectively Knowledge of construction management principles and estimating techniques Familiarity with concrete forming, steel fabrication, and masonry work is a plus Ability to operate heavy equipment safely on construction sites Strong understanding of plumbing, electrical systems, and fixture installation relevant to fencing projects Experience with restoration work including plastering, stucco application, or painting is advantageous Skilled in working with various materials such as glass for fencing or cabinet components when needed Ability to read technical drawings and schematics accurately for precise installations Knowledge of safety standards related to construction painting, tile laying, flooring installation, and roofing tasks Join us as a Chain-link Installer if you're passionate about building durable structures that stand the test of time!
