Job Description

Deschutes River Cabinet Company (DRCC) is seeking a skilled Cabinet Builder to join our team and support the production of custom cabinetry projects. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work in a fast-paced shop environment, values consistency and detail, and takes ownership of producing work that meets both team standards and customer expectations. Be part of a team that values craftsmanship and doing the job right Work on custom projects that showcase your skill and attention to detail Small team environment where your contribution makes a real impact Clear communication, accountability, and a focus on continuous improvement Consistent schedule with half-day Fridays to support work-life balance What you will be doing: Build and assemble high-end custom cabinetry Mill materials and prepare components using shop equipment Operate woodworking machinery such as table saws, jointer, planer, sanders, and edge bander Cut and assemble cabinet boxes, doors, and drawers to specification Read and interpret shop drawings and cut lists Ensure all work meets quality standards before moving to the next phase Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Communicate with team members to stay aligned on priorities and timelines Support workflow needs across the shop to meet production deadlines Assist with troubleshooting and problem-solving during builds What we are looking for: 3+ years of cabinet making or closely related woodworking experience Experience in custom cabinet production preferred Ability to read and interpret shop drawings Strong working knowledge of woodworking tools and machinery High attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship Ability to stay organized and manage time effectively in a production environment Solid problem-solving skills and willingness to ask questions when needed Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment Dependable, punctual, and accountable Willingness to work occasional overtime as needed to meet production schedules What we offer: Competitive wage based on experience Paid vacation, sick leave, and holidays Health and dental insurance Consistent full-time schedule: four 9-hour days plus a half-day on Fridays Opportunities for professional growth and advancement within the company
