Job Description

  • Prior woodworking experience in a cabinet shop is highly recommended and will be given preference for this position
  • For this General Woodworking Floater position, we are looking for a candidate that can float to various departments throughout the shop (sanding/cabinet assembly/doors/hardware, etc.
) to assist in areas as directed by management. In order to excel in this role, you must be a team player and maintain a positive attitude. This is a perfect job for anyone that wants a change of pace throughout the day. You will not be bored! Come and join our team of approx 25-30 employees as we work hard to create beautiful custom cabinetry for the home. Our customer base extends along the east coast from New England to Florida. Showcase your woodworking skills at a company that provides quality craftsmanship to everything we touch! Duties included but not limited to:
  • Produce high end custom cabinetry (residential). We sell to designers, architectural firms, etc.
  • Assist in various departments as directed: Rough Mill, CNC/Plywood Cutting, Face Frames, Specials, Doors, Cabinet Assembly, Whitewood Sanding, Finishing, Hardware and Final Inspection.
  • Flexible and adaptable in order to get the job done
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Manages time wisely and is self-motivated/takes initiative
  • Positive attitude toward change
  • High attention to detail with a willingness to learn
  • Capable of critical thinking
  • Intermediate to advanced level math knowledge (figuring square footage, linear footage, can read tape measure)
  • Able to work overtime as needed
  • PT work available
