Job Description

The position of the Cabinet Builder is responsible for sanding all cabinet parts before they go into the paint room.
Duties:
Inspect all equipment associated with the assembly process. Including all pneumatic, electric and hand held tools. Reviews orders and ensure all components are present. Inspect components for defects. Replacement of components are reported to immediate Supervisor. Zero and/or calibrate all machines prior to operation if required. Identify all components and/or any special components including hardware assembly operation. Separate and identify all components per order. Ensure all production materials are present including adhesives, screws and staples if needed. Ensure all cabinet accessories are present if requires. Assemble components as specific to order. Ensure order is completed. A copy of order accompanies orders to next operation/customer. Any shortages are recorded.
Skills:
Technical Capacity. Read and understand engineered drawings. Read and use a tape measure. Ability to operate power tools and equipment. Customer/client focus. Teamwork.

$19.50 - $23.75 per hour
