Contract Custom Cabinet Installer / Millwork Installer

The Material Reserve is looking for dependable contract cabinet installers to work with us on a per-job / project-by-project basis . We are a custom cabinet and millwork shop with our own box truck and a steady need for skilled installers who can help deliver, unload, and install high-quality cabinetry, built-ins, vanities, mantels, shelving, and custom woodwork. This is a great fit for an experienced cabinet installer, finish carpenter, trim carpenter, or small install crew looking for additional project-based work.

Responsibilities:

Install custom cabinets, built-ins, vanities, floating shelves, mantels, and millwork Work on a contract / by-job basis Load, unload, and handle cabinetry carefully during delivery and installation Use shop drawings, measurements, and layouts to complete installs accurately Level, shim, scribe, fasten, adjust, and finish cabinetry on-site Install fillers, panels, trim, toe kicks, hardware, drawer fronts, and doors Make clean field adjustments when needed Protect finished cabinetry, flooring, walls, and jobsite areas Keep job sites clean and professional Communicate clearly with our shop team, builders, designers, and homeowners

Ideal Candidate:

Has cabinet installation, finish carpentry, trim carpentry, or millwork experience Can work independently or with a small crew Has their own basic tools for cabinet installation Takes pride in clean, accurate, high-end work Can read basic drawings, layouts, and measurements Is dependable, professional, and easy to communicate with Can safely lift and move cabinets, panels, and materials Has reliable transportation Box truck experience is a plus, but not required

Compensation:

This is a contract position paid by the job . Pay will vary based on the size, scope, location, and complexity of each project. We are looking to build relationships with reliable installers we can call on for ongoing cabinet and millwork installation work.
