About the
Role:
This role is equal parts relationship builder, salesperson, business development, and designer. You'll spend your time developing relationships with custom home builders, interior designers, architects, remodelers, and homeowners while also designing beautiful kitchens that help clients bring their vision to life. If you enjoy meeting new people, hosting events, networking, and creating exceptional customer experiences, this is an opportunity to make a real impact on a growing company.
What You'll Do:
Business Development:
Build relationships with custom home builders, remodelers, architects, and interior designers. Schedule and attend networking meetings and industry events. Represent Cabinet IQ throughout the Knoxville market. Host educational events, lunch-and-learns, and showroom open houses. Generate new business opportunities through referrals and relationship building. Become a trusted resource within the local building community.
Sales:
Meet with homeowners and industry professionals. Conduct showroom consultations. Present kitchen designs and cabinet solutions. Prepare proposals and close projects. Maintain strong communication throughout the customer experience.
Kitchen Design:
Design functional and beautiful kitchens using 2020 Design software (training available for the right candidate). Guide clients through cabinet, hardware, and finish selections. Collaborate with our design and installation team to ensure successful project execution.
Who You Are:
We're looking for someone who naturally connects with people. You likely enjoy networking, hosting events, meeting new people, and creating lasting relationships. You have a positive attitude, strong communication skills, and enjoy helping clients make important decisions. You don't necessarily need years of cabinet experience, we can teach products, design software, and our process. You do need to genuinely enjoy building relationships.
Qualifications:
Sales or business development experience preferred. Experience in interior design, kitchens, cabinetry, construction, or residential design is a plus. Strong communication and presentation skills. Highly organized and self-motivated. Comfortable networking and representing the company in the community. Ability to build trust with homeowners and industry professionals. Valid driver's license.

Develop relationships with builders, architects, and interior designers. Generate new project opportunities through networking and referrals. Deliver an exceptional customer experience from first meeting through final installation.

We specialize in custom kitchen design, premium cabinetry, and professional installation for custom homes, remodels, and luxury residential projects throughout East Tennessee. We're growing quickly and are looking for someone who wants more than a traditional sales job. We're looking for someone who enjoys building relationships, loves great design, and wants to help grow one of the area's premier kitchen design companies.
Pay:
$45,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
