Custom Cabinet Manufacturing About the Position We are looking for an experienced, dependable, and detail-oriented Cabinet Vision Operator to join our custom cabinet shop. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Cabinet Vision software and understand the cabinet manufacturing process from design and drafting through production. This position requires someone who can accurately create and modify cabinet designs, generate production-ready files, and ensure jobs are programmed correctly for the shop floor. Attention to detail is extremely important. The right candidate will take pride in producing accurate work and be able to identify and correct issues before they make it to production. Responsibilities Create and modify custom cabinet designs using Cabinet Vision Develop accurate cabinet layouts based on architectural plans, drawings, and customer specifications Create detailed cabinet drawings and production-ready designs Generate CNC files, cut lists, and other necessary production information Ensure cabinet designs are accurate and optimized for manufacturing Review jobs for potential issues before releasing them to production Make revisions and adjustments as needed throughout the production process Work closely with the shop and production team to ensure designs translate correctly into finished products Troubleshoot design, programming, and production issues Maintain organized job files and production documentation Meet production deadlines while maintaining accuracy and quality Assist with material optimization and efficient use of sheet goods Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment Follow all company safety and quality standards Qualifications Previous Cabinet Vision experience required Experience in custom cabinet manufacturing preferred Strong understanding of cabinet construction and manufacturing processes Ability to read and interpret architectural plans and shop drawings Strong knowledge of cabinet dimensions, materials, hardware, and construction methods Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Strong computer skills Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve independently Ability to manage multiple jobs and meet deadlines Strong communication skills Dependable attendance and reliable transportation Ability to work independently as well as with a production team The ideal candidate is someone who can take a project from plans and specifications, build it accurately in Cabinet Vision, and produce clean, efficient files that are ready for manufacturing.
