Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Custom Cabinet Builder to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality, custom cabinetry that meets precise specifications and client expectations. Your expertise in woodworking, fabrication, and various construction techniques will ensure each project is completed with excellence, precision, and attention to detail. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to custom projects that transform spaces and elevate interior design. Duties Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and detailed drawings to accurately construct custom cabinets and furniture pieces. Measure, cut, assemble, and install cabinetry using hand tools, power tools, and CNC machinery when applicable. Fabricate components with precision, ensuring proper fit, finish, and durability for each project. Perform framing, trim carpentry, door hanging, fixture installation, and siding work as needed for seamless integration of cabinetry into various environments. Handle heavy lifting safely while managing materials such as rebar for reinforcement or concrete forms for structural elements. Apply finishing techniques including caulking, painting, plastering, stucco work, and water damage restoration to achieve a polished look. Maintain a clean and organized workspace on construction sites or manufacturing facilities while adhering to safety protocols related to electrical experience, roofing, masonry, plumbing, flooring installation, tile laying, and other trades involved in remodeling or restoration projects. Skills Extensive experience in carpentry disciplines including trim carpentry, frame carpentry, metal stud framing, and woodworking. Proficiency with hand tools (saws, chisels), power tools (drills, sanders), CNC machinery, and fabrication equipment. Strong knowledge of construction estimating processes and schematics interpretation for accurate project planning. Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings with clarity to ensure precise execution of custom cabinetry projects. Experience in various construction environments such as remodeling sites or manufacturing facilities; familiarity with the restoration industry is a plus. Skilled in multiple trades including drywall finishing (plastering), concrete forming, rebar installation, roofing techniques, siding application, electrical wiring basics, plumbing connections, masonry work, flooring installation (tile or hardwood), and fixture setup. Capable of heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks while maintaining safety standards. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt schematics or plans as needed during project execution. Strong communication skills for collaborating with team members on complex projects involving mold remediation or water damage restoration.
