Small established crews may also apply. We want to build relationships with dependable professionals who care about preparation, finish quality, communication, and respecting customers' homes. This is currently a contract opportunity, but an individual who consistently produces excellent work may be considered for a separate long-term team position in the future if both sides are interested. Future employment is not guaranteed. Each contract project includes a written scope, location, completion window, finish requirements, and agreed compensation. Contractors may accept or decline individual projects. Project availability may vary. Project Responsibilities Protect floors, countertops, appliances, and surrounding areas. Remove, label, organize, and reinstall doors, drawers, and hardware when included in the scope. Clean and degrease cabinet surfaces. Sand, caulk, fill, repair, and mask surfaces properly. Apply specified primers and finish coatings using professional spray equipment. Inspect completed surfaces and correct visible imperfections. Control dust, overspray, fumes, and jobsite disruption. Complete touch-ups, punch-list items, and final cleanup. Communicate promptly about availability, progress, delays, or concerns. Treat customers, homes, and property professionally. Deliver consistent, furniture-quality results. Qualifications Proven cabinet, furniture, millwork, or detailed residential refinishing experience. Experience using professional spray equipment, including airless or air-assisted systems. Strong knowledge of surface preparation, coating adhesion, and finish inspection. Reliable transportation and dependable communication. Ability to work independently and complete an agreed project scope. Ability to provide photographs or a portfolio of previous work. Ability to invoice for completed contract services. Required contractor documentation must be completed before receiving project assignments. Own standard tools and safety equipment; project-specific responsibilities will be defined in each scope. Individuals are encouraged to apply. Small established crews are also welcome. Crew leaders are responsible for hiring, paying, directing, and supervising their workers. Compensation Individual contractor compensation is based on the daily range displayed in this posting. Crews receive separately agreed project pricing based on scope and responsibilities. This listing is for project-based contract work. A separate employee position may be discussed later with an individual who demonstrates excellent craftsmanship, reliability, communication, and long-term fit.
