This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of construction, remodeling, and restoration projects, utilizing your skills in woodworking, fabrication, and installation. Whether you're experienced or eager to learn, you'll be an essential part of creating high-quality, functional, and beautiful cabinetry for residential and commercial spaces. We prioritize paid positions to ensure your valuable skills are recognized from day one. Duties Measure, cut, assemble, and install custom cabinets, fixtures, and woodwork using hand tools and power tools. Read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute project specifications. Assist with framing, trim carpentry, drywall installation, and finishing tasks related to cabinetry projects. Handle heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely while maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Support the fabrication process in the workshop or on-site by preparing materials such as rebar installation or concrete forms as needed. Perform restoration work including water damage remediation, plastering, stucco application, or siding replacement. Collaborate with team members on construction estimating and project planning to ensure timely completion. Qualifications Prior experience in carpentry, woodworking, or construction site work is highly preferred. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, CNC machinery, and schematics reading. Knowledge of construction estimating, blueprint reading, metal stud framing, roofing, flooring installation, tile laying, electrical experience, plumbing or masonry is a plus. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work at heights or in confined spaces when required. Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills for fabrication and fixture installation. Experience in the restoration industry or water damage remediation is advantageous but not mandatory. Valid construction site experience with familiarity in drywall finishing, caulking, siding installation, or door hanging is beneficial.
