Job Description

We're looking for a Fireplace Installer who takes pride in quality craftsmanship and understands that every detail matters. You'll work alongside our experienced Lead Installer, learning our systems and standards while building the skills needed to become a lead yourself. If you're someone who enjoys solving problems, working with your hands, and leaving every job knowing it was done right, we'd love to meet you. What You'll Do You'll work directly alongside our Lead Installer, receiving hands-on training to install wood, gas, and pellet heating appliances while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety. You will have a clear path to increased responsibility and higher pay as you demonstrate proficiency.
Responsibilities:
Assist with residential fireplace and stove installations. Read plans, manuals, and installation instructions. Measure carefully and verify clearances before installation. Install venting systems, chimney systems, hearth pads, and related components. Perform finish work with exceptional attention to detail. Troubleshoot installation challenges alongside the Lead Installer. Communicate professionally with homeowners throughout the project. Complete job documentation and photos. Learn our installation standards, safety procedures, and best practices. Develop the skills necessary to advance into a Lead Installer role. Ensure every installation meets manufacturer specifications and applicable building codes. What We're Looking For This position is designed for someone who wants to become a Lead Installer. We are looking for someone with a solid construction background who cares about doing quality work and wants to build a long-term career in the trades.
Ideal qualifications include:
3+ years of construction or skilled trades experience. Strong carpentry and finish-work skills. Ability to read blueprints and installation instructions. Excellent problem-solving abilities. Exceptional attention to detail. Mechanical aptitude. Desire to grow into a leadership position. Ability to lift heavy materials and work on ladders and roofs. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Positive attitude and willingness to continue learning.
