Job Description

Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Chemical Process Operator and become a vital part of our manufacturing operations! In this energetic role, you will oversee the safe and efficient running of chemical production processes, ensuring quality standards are met while maintaining compliance with industry regulations such as CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practice). Your hands-on approach will involve operating machinery, handling materials, and supporting packaging activities to produce high-quality chemical products. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced environment committed to continuous improvement and lean manufacturing principles. Responsibilities Operate and monitor chemical processing equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety at all times Responsible for reporting any problems with equipment and operations. Also responsible for Lock Out Tag Out Try Out of equipment, hot/safe work permits and confined space permits. Conduct routine inspections of machinery, pipelines, and safety systems to prevent malfunctions or hazards Maintain accurate and organized records of jobs performed to ensure they are completed per the SOP. Carry out routine and non-routine activities as required by management Follow written and verbal instructions. Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs and push at least 100 lbs. Responsible for maintaining a clean working environment. Follow lean manufacturing practices to identify waste reduction opportunities and improve process flow Experience Prior experience in manufacturing environments, preferably within chemical or related industries Familiarity with CGMP regulations ensures adherence to industry standards for product safety and quality Experience with forklift operation enhances operational efficiency Knowledge of machining processes can be an asset for troubleshooting equipment issues Strong understanding of safety protocols related to chemicals, machinery, and warehouse operations Demonstrated ability to work in a team-oriented setting with a focus on continuous improvement This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to grow their expertise in chemical processing while contributing to a safe, efficient, and innovative manufacturing environment. Pay:
$22.75 - $23.90 per hour
