What You'll Work On Implement and maintain the effectiveness of the quality and safety system Manufacture liquid adult, pediatric, and medical nutritional products Lift and handle raw ingredients during weighing, staging, and manufacturing processes Operate scales, portable pumps, container rinsers, homogenizers Perform hand cleaning, clean-in-place (CIP), cleaning-out-of-place (COP), and routine housekeeping Interact with computer systems integrated into the manufacturing process and document steps per work orders and job procedures Prepare, operate, monitor, and document bulk slurries for blending operations, heat treatment processes, and controlled weigh systems Operate and monitor computer-controlled CIP systems for manufacturing equipment (e.g., tanks, heat treatment systems) Receive and unload bulk raw ingredients and CIP chemicals You'll be accountable for meeting our compliance standards including FDA, OSHA and Abbott policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications High School Diploma or GED Ability to continuously lift up to 50 lbs throughout the shift Knowledge of food processing techniques and documentation requirements Ability to read and follow work orders, troubleshoot equipment breakdowns, and operate powered industrial vehicles Good mechanical aptitude and strong problem-solving skills Preferred Qualifications Experience in a plant production environment (preferably in drug, food, or beverage manufacturing) In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.
