•Urgent need for a Sterile Processing Technician for one of our client which is a Medical center,
Pay Rate:
$43/hr
Job Location:
Chico, CA 95926
Shift :
1300-2130, 8-hr shift length, varied days off
Duration of Contract:
13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours:
40
Hrs Requirements:
Experienced Sterile Processing Technician . Experience working in an inpatient Main OR . Current CPR/BLS certification. Current CBSPD, HSPA, or equivalent certification preferred. Previous traveler assignment experience preferred.
Job Responsibilities:
Process, clean, inspect, assemble, package, and sterilize surgical instruments and supplies. Ensure proper operation of steam and gas autoclaves/sterilizers. Perform and document biological and chemical sterilization testing. Prepare surgical trays and special procedure items for sterilization. Properly wrap and package instruments and supplies according to sterilization principles.
