Production Technician

We bring you Tomorrow's opportunity, today. Volt is immediately hiring Manufacturing Technician in FOLSOM, California As Manufacturing Technician, you will be responsible for.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for performing a variety of duties within a manufacturing environment including production and manufacturing process operations. Sets up and operates fabrication processes and equipment to produce consumable products. Follows detailed work instructions associated with each machine and or business process. Performs a variety of process support tasks including maintenance of records and/or databases. Coordinates and facilitates processes by ensuring the proper flow of information and/or materials. Supports preventative maintenance program and inventory control activities with data entry, report generation and reconciliation. Provides back-up support for administrative and materials/procurement personnel in other manufacturing departments. Required to work and communicate cross functionally with company personnel at all organizational levels. Manages and completes multiple tasks and projects which require planning and judgment. Develops solutions on how to resolve issues that are identified during daily work. Provides feedback to supervisor, lead technician or technical support group on safety, quality, interpersonal and process related issues.

Required Qualifications:

Experience in manufacturing, customer service, and/or high throughput environments. Basic math, verbal & written communication skills, and aptitude to follow complex instructions.

Desired Qualifications:

3+ years' experience in an ISO certified manufacturing environment, academic lab, or equivalent educational background. Hands-on experience in a chemistry and or biochemical manufacturing environment. Proficiency in Microsoft office products including Excel, and Word. Experience with SAP or related ERP system. Experience in inventory management is a plus. Strong attention to detail, skills to multi-task and organize thoughts as needed. This is a
