Job Description

Job Title:
Production Technician Job Description In this role, you will safely and efficiently manage the operation of plasma reactors according to production schedules. You will monitor and adjust reactor parameters in real-time to optimize performance and output quality, ensuring that all produced fertilizers meet predefined quality standards. Responsibilities Operate and clean production equipment, including reactors, pumps, tanks, blenders, and absorbers. Perform diversified tasks to install and maintain production machinery and plant facilities. Conduct regular maintenance of reactors and associated equipment. Diagnose and troubleshoot operational issues, implementing corrective actions to minimize downtime. Conduct tests and inspections to verify products' composition, effectiveness, and safety. Collaborate with engineers to refine production techniques, suggesting and implementing improvements for efficiency and quality. Adhere to workplace safety guidelines and environmental regulations, participating in safety drills and training sessions. Maintain accurate production data records, including maintenance activities and quality control results. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including research and development, to support new fertilizer formulations or production methods. Essential Skills Proficiency in using power tools and handling installations. Ability to wear a respirator. Strong understanding of chemical processes and safety protocols. Ability to operate a forklift. Mechanical installation skills and experience with hoses, cords, tubing, and PVC piping. Additional Skills & Qualifications Mechanical inclination and troubleshooting skills. Experience with heavy lifting, scissor lift operation, and general labor tasks. Technical knowledge in chemistry and machine operation. Why Work Here? Safety glasses are required as part of personal protective equipment. Shift times vary, with one shift from Monday to Friday, 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM, and another from Thursday to Monday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Fremont, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms. If eligible, the benefits available for this temporary role may include the following:
