Job Description

TDD Production Operator (Transdermal Medical Devices)
Location:
Northridge, CA (On-Site)
Assignment Duration:
Contract to Hire (Great potential to convert)
Pay Rate:
$19-22/hr.
DOE Schedule:
Monday to Friday with Weekend Overtime, if needed

  • Shift 1: 5:00 AM
  • 1:30 PM
  • Shift 2: 1:00 PM
  • 9:30 PM
  • Shift 3: 9:00 PM
  • 5:30 AM On behalf of our client, a Global Medical Device company, we are seeking TDD Production Operators.
The TDD Production Operator will set up, operate, and follow directions closely on the assembly of TDD medical devices involving nicotine and other controlled chemicals. They are responsible for production, safety, quality control, and escalating issues to the maintenance department supervisor and quality team.
Job Responsibilities:
Maintain cleanliness of the work area and equipment. Operate designated automatic or semi-automatic equipment to convert and pack transdermal products. Responsible for effectively utilizing hands-on skills to produce a product that meets established quality standards by following and executing Manufacturing Order instructions and Plant instructions. Use correct components in the correct amounts per manufacturing order requirements for all products being manufactured. Clean, maintain, set up, and adjust packaging machinery following Safety (SOPs, GMPs), and Packaging Standards. Verify material counts delivered to production lines and prepare returns and transfers as necessary. Notify maintenance personnel to troubleshoot equipment issues. Efficiently manage serialization processes.
Skills & Experience:
Must have a High School degree Attention to detail is crucial, with a strong understanding of GMP. Ability to lift 25-65 lbs. occasionally. Flexibility to temporarily change shifts, work overtime, or assist in other departments as required. Effective time management and resource utilization skills. This role requires a proactive attitude, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
