Cleanroom Technician/Machine Operator Job Description Join a dynamic team that manufactures gloves for industrial, pharmaceutical, and nuclear companies, focusing on operating automated machinery and ensuring quality production. Responsibilities Operate automated machinery using screen controls. Perform minor troubleshooting and adjustments using machine control screens. Document and track levels of each batch of gloves, noting each cycle in the process. Inspect machines and gloves during production cycles. Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) while operating equipment. Perform lock out tag out when relocating machines. Initiate new batches by moving to different machines while others are in cycle. Clean tanks that produce gloves 1-2 times a month. Essential Skills Experience in machine operation. Ability to follow SOPs and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs). Strong attention to detail. Basic computer skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications Knowledge of production processes. Work Environment This position is on the 3rd shift from 10 pm to 6:30 am, Friday to Tuesday. The role requires cleanliness, sometimes necessitating wearing respirators. The work takes place in a cleanroom environment where lab coats are worn upon entering the production floor. The manufacturing floor has a temperature-controlled setting and smells like paint. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Marcos, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
