Electro-Methods, a Stronvar Aerospace Company Overview The Wash Tank Technician operates aqueous cleaning systems used to remove oils, machining residue, and debris from aerospace components as they move through the Lean flow line. This role ensures parts are properly cleaned and prepared for inspection or subsequent manufacturing operations while maintaining process control and contamination standards required for aerospace manufacturing.
This role supports:
Creation of standard work Maintaining standard work Training and coaching of standard work Improvement of standard work Key Responsibilities Operate industrial parts washing systems. Monitor chemical concentrations and maintain process parameters. Verify cleanliness of components. Safely load and unload parts from wash systems. Maintain equipment and ensure compliance with environmental regulations. Operate other equipment in the cell as necessary to keep product flowing at takt. Required Qualifications & Skills Manufacturing or industrial cleaning experience preferred. Additional Information Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods. Ability to lift 40-50 lbs. Work Environment Industrial wash station environment within manufacturing operations.
