Daily Job Expectations:
Work safely and follow all policies and procedures; Identify and report unsafe conditions immediately; Check equipment for unsafe unusual conditions and correct or report findings to maintenance; Follow all site safety policies and wear appropriate PPE; Perform daily utility rounds and aide in basic troubleshooting of equipment; Ensure that Routine Job Tasks are completed; Charge, process, drum MT-17; Charge, process, drum/load Vinyl Ester blends; Drum raw materials, finished product in Coatings, PEBB, and manually when needed; Prepare equipment and permits for maintenance work; Maintain a clean and orderly work area; Continuously focus on teamwork, communication, and doing your best to do a good job; Aide in training team members; Aide Shipping and Receiving at the shipping gates including loading box trailers, unloading inbound raw materials (bulk and package), loading finished product; Assist Inventory Coordinator with cycle counts and inventory control; Stick bulk tanks when requested; Perform Environmental duties such as pumping waste drums, loading J-1, transferring 600 and 602; Transfer solvent from south tank to waste trailer or K-7 or M-57; Perform routine scale verifications; Participate on the Safety Action Committee; Participate in Process Hazard Analysis (PHA).
Routine Job Expectations:
Demonstrate good teamwork skills in performing all job functions; Communicate openly with Department Managers, Team Managers, and Production Assistant; Support company policies and programs; Assist in training new employees; Perform other duties as designated by Team Manager; Follow all company and department procedures; Use all computer-based systems as required by job duties; Know safety equipment location and use; Work overtime as needed to cover the requirements of the shift; Audit VCS books for completion; Annually audit and review assigned procedures; Complete special projects as described by Production Manager / Production Assistant; Assist in ensuring that Routine Job Tasks are completed.
