Job Description

Cleans, disinfects, decontaminates, and sterilizes surgical instruments and equipment using appropriate methods and substances.
Properly disposes of bio-hazardous substances, chemicals, medical waste, and supplies.
Summary:
Receives, cleans, sterilizes and stores surgical instruments and equipment.- 5 days per week; 8a
- 4:30p; weekends on call rotation
- Experience with the cleaning, high level disinfection and reprocess of Colonoscopes, Endoscopes, Respiratory Scopes, difficult intubation scopes is preferred
Responsibilities:
Performs and documents required quality assurance testing and inspections.Cleans, disinfects, decontaminates, and sterilizes surgical instruments and equipment using appropriate methods and substances.
Properly disposes of bio-hazardous substances, chemicals, medical waste, and supplies.

One (1) year of experience as a Sterile Processing Technician preferred.Other Information:
