Training Schedule:
During the first week, training will take place Monday-Thursday before transitioning to the regular weekend schedule

In this role, you will clean, prepare, sterilize, store, and distribute instruments, equipment, and supplies while following established procedures and safety standards. You will work in a detail-oriented environment where accurate processing, proper documentation, inventory support, and timely service are essential. This position requires extended periods of standing and the ability to safely handle equipment and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds.
Responsibilities:
Clean and decontaminate surgical instruments and equipment according to established procedures. Inspect, wrap, pouch, barcode, and prepare instruments and supplies for sterilization. Unload and transport washer/disinfector and sterilizer equipment to designated processing and storage areas. Stock, organize, and distribute supplies and case carts while helping maintain established inventory levels. Perform routine and deep cleaning of assigned areas and support proper documentation and processing standards.
Qualifications and Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Basic knowledge of Central Services sterilization processes and techniques. Ability to lift, carry, and/or move equipment and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds . Ability to stand for approximately 90% of the work shift and work under pressure to meet deadlines. Good eye-hand coordination and ability to communicate effectively with staff and management. Ability to prepare required documentation in accordance with applicable SOP, AAMI, AATB, OSHA, and other relevant standards. Must be able to work in an environment with temperatures ranging approximately from 68°F to 80°F and potential exposure to blood or body fluids, sharp instruments, and cleaning chemicals. Must be available for Monday-Thursday training during the first week , followed by the regular Friday-Sunday schedule.
