Job Description

Responsibilities
  • Accurately performs most chemical manufacturing functions as needed while working under limited supervision of senior operators.
  • Complete priorities in relation to defined schedules to manufacture high performance aerospace materials to prescribed standards and specifications.
  • Monitor complex chemical reactions/operations under supervision of senior operators.
  • Participate in 5 S activities.
  • Comply with Health, Safety, and Environmental requirements at all times.
  • Facilitate the chemical process, including adding reactants to raw materials and overseeing all steps of the reactions
  • Perform tests on the final product
  • Make any necessary adjustments to equipment
  • Use a forklift to move drums and pallets
  • Meet quality standards without delaying production
  • Maintain a clean and safe workplace Education and Experience
  • High school diploma / GED
  • Prior experience with chemical production processes or in a manufacturing environment (strongly preferred)
  • HazMat certification (preferred)
  • 1-2 years of related experience Skills and Knowledge
  • Must be a U.S citizen
  • Ability to operate a forklift
  • Basic math, reading, and computer skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Physical ability to complete job duties
  • Ability to follow directions accurately
  • Attention to detail and organization skills
