SUMMARY OF POSITION F

abrication Tech 1

• Operator is responsible for operating production machinery in the fabrication department. Fabrication Tech 1
• operator may operate a tumbler, welder, washer and/or notching.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Includes, but may not be limited to the following: F abrication Tech 1

• Operator Inspects in-process fabricated parts. F abrication Tech 1
• Operator operates tumbler, welder, washer and notching stations. F abrication Tech 1
• Operator inserts magazine tube or tubes into machine and perform welding, washing, notching and tumbling applications. F abrication Tech 1
• Operator must meet productivity and waste standards. F abrication Tech 1
• Operator p erforms visual Inspection of welded components for defects and cosmetic issues. F abrication Tech 1
• Operator maintains workflow with no or minimum interruptions. F abrication Tech 1
• Operator is responsible for cleanliness and orderliness of work environment. F abrication Tech 1
• Operator promotes teamwork and willingness to help others. F abrication Tech 1
• Operator commits to quality and accuracy of work performed. F abrication Tech 1
• Operator is responsible for following established safety procedures.

Qualifications

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS H.S.

diploma or GED 1-3 years of manufacturing experience Basic problem-solving and organizational skills Strong interpersonal skills Written and verbal communication skills Able to multi-task Able to utilize Micrometers, Calibers, Drop Gage and Dial Indicators Able to read and following instructions outlined in production documents Language Skills

• Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, personnel policies, graphs and other production documents. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from senior leaders, departmental managers and directors. Physical Demands
• While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit and walk. Employees must be able to stand for long periods of time. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, reach overhead, lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include reading computer screens and small print. Work Environment
