$28.59/hour Job Summary Maintenance Technicians perform inspections, troubleshooting, and mechanical repairs on process equipment with a focus on Precision Maintenance and Reliability. This role supports safe, efficient plant operations through preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of conveying systems, pumps, compressors, and rotating equipment. Qualified candidates will have a 2-year technical degree in a maintenance-related field and/or relevant industrial maintenance experience. Applicable programs may include Industrial Maintenance, Diesel Mechanics, Auto Mechanics, Mechatronics, or similar technical disciplines. Essential Job Functions Perform hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical maintenance and repairs Troubleshoot equipment issues using diagnostic and precision maintenance tools Work safely and follow all lockout/tagout, GMP, HACCP, food safety, and quality procedures Operate hoists, forklifts, scissor lifts, pallet jacks, and power tools Use millwright hand tools, measuring devices, and alignment equipment Complete preventative maintenance, inspections, and housekeeping tasks Work independently and collaboratively in a team environment Participate in ongoing technical and safety training Support plant reliability, productivity, and continuous improvement initiatives Perform other related duties as assigned Requirements Ability to work in extreme temperatures, dusty, noisy, and industrial environments while using required PPE Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., climb ladders and stairs, work at heights, and stand/walk for extended periods Ability to work in confined spaces such as tanks, boilers, and process vessels Strong attendance, punctuality, and safety awareness required Ability to safely handle chemicals, solvents, and cleaners used in maintenance work Qualifications Strong troubleshooting, decision-making, and problem-solving skills Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking abilities Experience using Microsoft Office products and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) Familiarity with precision maintenance tools such as laser alignment, ultrasound, and thermography equipment preferred Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment and support reliability-focused maintenance practices Education & Experience High school diploma or GED required Associate degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, or related field preferred Minimum 3 years of industrial manufacturing or maintenance experience preferred Strong experience in mechanical and/or industrial maintenance required Benefits (Starting Day 1!!) Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours.
