Job Description

Position Overview We are seeking a dependable and safety‑driven Transloader to support chemical transfer operations in a heavy industrial environment. This role involves operating a transloader/spotter truck, working with chemicals, and handling materials using sit‑down forklifts or clamp trucks. Candidates must have previous experience and be comfortable performing physically demanding work around industrial equipment and chemical transfer systems. This is a 1st‑shift position with one opening available. Overtime may be required based on operational needs. Key Responsibilities Primary Transloader Duties Operate a transloader/spotter truck to safely move peroxide and other materials throughout the facility. Connect hoses to tanks to transfer chemicals according to safety and operational procedures. Ensure proper flow, secure connections, and adherence to chemical‑handling protocols. Maintain awareness of hazards and follow all facility safety guidelines. Liquid Plant Support Duties Work around pumps to transfer liquid chemicals between tanks, totes, and drums. Operate sit‑down forklifts or clamp trucks in an industrial environment. Hook up hoses to tanks for liquid chemical transfers. Transport totes of chemicals manually (up to ~35 lbs) or via forklift. Verify incoming and outgoing product using written documentation. Label drums and totes accurately and consistently. Perform routine heavy lifting as part of daily operations. Required Experience & Skills Previous spotter truck experience (chemical spotter experience preferred but not required). Experience operating a sit‑down forklift or clamp truck. Ability to work safely around pumps, hoses, and chemical transfer systems. Physical ability to lift and move materials regularly. Shift & Schedule 1st

6:00 AM-2:30 PM or 7:00 AM-3:30
PM Overtime:
Required as needed Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Joliet, IL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
