Lubrication Technician Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Lubrication Technician to support our production team by efficiently managing fluids and chemicals across multiple production lines. This hands-on role demands a person who is comfortable working in a heavy industrial environment while maintaining a high level of organization and attention to detail. Responsibilities Clean out metal shavings from machine hoppers. Check and fill coolant and other fluid levels to proper levels as needed. Perform fluid and oil changes on equipment. Monitor fluids and chemicals from production lines. Track and report fluid levels accurately. Transport samples to the lab for testing and analysis. Maintain proper documentation using Microsoft Office, primarily Excel. Ensure tools and equipment are maintained and used safely. Follow all safety protocols when handling chemicals and working on the floor. Stay on your feet for extended periods throughout the shift. Essential Skills Experience in manufacturing or production environments. Ability to work independently. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word. Knowledge of lubrication, chemical management, quality control, and fluid mechanics. Additional Skills & Qualifications Strong computer skills. Experience in quality assurance. Why Work Here? Work Environment Work in a heavy industrial environment with a shift pattern of 4 days on and 4 days off, with 1st shift hours from 7:00am to 7:00pm. Initial training is conducted Monday through Friday during day shifts. The role requires wearing a hard hat, high visibility vest, gloves, long sleeve pants, and a long sleeve shirt. Be part of a growing team currently consisting of three people. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Crawfordsville, IN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
